Nobody wants to live in their parents’ house all of their lives, mooch off their fathers and mothers and be regarded as good for nothing sponges who cannot stand on their own, two feet independently and that is why even at a young age, they need to set their goals straight and plan for the future so that they can realize their fullest potential in this world. They need to study hard in school, listen to the admonitions and instructions of their professors and teachers, bury their heads in their books and notes as well as give their best shot in all of their academic duties and responsibilities like tests, exams and term papers. Soon enough, they will graduate with the highest honors possible and move one step closer to landing the perfect job as doctors without borders saving lives around the worlds, actuaries fighting for truth and justice, businessmen calling the shots in this economy or maybe even teachers molding the next generation of great minds.
Who said only men can do the fixing around the house? We live in a time where feminists (and even those who don’t identify themselves, explicitly, as one) strive to be equal with men on everything—job titles, political positions, societal roles, name it! Nothing that a woman can’t do at these modern times. And even when it is not too feminine, there are courageous women who do not care if the career or hobbies they are getting into are perceived to be masculine. For instance, as basic as being a reliable handy woman seems to be appealing to some women.
